2025-2026 CHAMBER MUSIC SEASON
The Northern Neck Orchestra’s 2025-2026 chamber music season will feature enduring compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert, a solo performance of exquisite works for piano and a captivating concert of classic tangos and jazz.

 The upcoming season will showcase works by great composers from different counties, eras and styles, performed by gifted musicians from the Northern Neck Orchestra and guest artists. Please join us for another exciting season of great chamber music.

BEETHOVEN
September 7, 2025


The Chamber Music Series opens on September 7 with selections from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations arranged for violin, viola and cello, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Trio No. 1 in E-flat major and String Trio in G major. The concert will be performed by Moises Cuhna, violin, Amelia Clingman, viola and Jake Fowler, cello.

PIANO SOLOS
November 2, 2025

On November 2, prize-winning piano soloist Daniel Inamorato will perform Franz Schubert’s Impromptu in B-flat major. It will be followed by the world premiere of seven compositions by Eric Lyttle, professor of music at the College of William & Mary: Prelude No. 1, Waltz No. 1, Mazurka No. 1, Phrygian Study, Prelude No. 2, Waltz No. 2 in F-sharp minor and Toccata. The concert will conclude with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata Pathetique in C minor.
MOZART AND MENDELSSOHN 
February 8, 2026
           
The season continues on February 8, 2026 with performances of Mozart’s String Quartet in G minor and Mendelssohn’s String Quintet No. 2. Musicians include Moises Cunha, violin, Nusheen Farahani, violin, Jane Lenz, viola and Jake Fowler, cello.

TANGOS AND JAZZ 
April 12, 2026
           
The season comes to a spirited conclusion on April 12, 2026 with Astor Piazzolla’s Three Tangos for Violin and Double Bass and Claude Bolling’s Jazz Trio Suite. The concert will be performed by Dasha Bukhartseva, piano, Moises Cunha, violin, Paul Macres, double bass and Eric Rieppel, drums.

Season tickets for the four-concert Chamber Music Series are $112.00. 
Single tickets are $35.00. 
Students are admitted free with an online reservation. 
Tickets may be purchased at the door or online.
